Administration Assistant 

 

  • Permanent Part-Time | 8 hours per week (Half-days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) | Experience work-life balance  
  • Primarily based at Box Hill Hospital, with travel to other Eastern Health sites as required (e.g., Maroondah, Angliss, Peter James Centre, Wantirna Health)

About the role

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, diligent and organized Administration Assistant to join the Postgraduate Medical Education Unit (PMEU) at Eastern Health. 

The Administration Assistant supports the work of the PMEU, working across programs with a focus on customer service, administration operations, data management, records management, meeting administration and general administration duties. 

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to work across EH sites/locations
  • Proactive and independent approach with demonstrated self-initiative and strong work ethic to complete work with accuracy and before deadlines 
  • Systematic and thorough approach, whilst maintaining attention to details
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively 
  • Excellent customer service skills, and professional verbal and written communication
  • High level of confidence in Microsoft Office and M365 programs e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Drive, PowerPoint, and Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to work effectively individually, and collaboratively within a team 

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
