At Box Hill Hospital you’ll gain and consolidate knowledge and skills while working in a postnatal AMM position. Box Hill Hospital births more than 2,700 babies each year, and our inpatient and outpatient services for new mums include Specialist Maternity Services, Lactation Support Unit, Women’s Health Physiotherapy, and a Perinatal Mental Health Service.
Our busy maternity unit has 20 Post-natal beds, 6 Birthing rooms with 2 assessment rooms, a Fetal Assessment Clinic, Antenatal Clinic and a 12 cot Special Care Nursery. Additionally, we proudly support a Midwifery Group Practice model of care. We have an innovative, collaborative and supportive maternity team, and with our Learning and Teaching unit and Clinical Midwife Consultants we offer a wide range of online and Face-2-Face learning and up-skilling opportunities.
