About the role
An opportunity exists for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and patient-first focus to join & guide the Box Hill Hospital Medical Imaging clerical team. You will be a positive, welcoming and helpful go-to person for patients, colleagues and Medical Professionals. It is a varied role that combines reception and back of house activities, liaising with Medical Professionals and working with patients to help secure their best outcomes.
About you
You will have previous supervisory experience with ability to support, teach and lead a team of Clerical staff. It will be an advantage for you to have previous working experience in a radiology practice or a similar workplace and where you were required to carry out regular clerical and booking activities.
In addition to the above, you will have:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Highly developed leadership & people management skills
- Experience in patient reception with a customer focus.
- Good communication skills both face to face & telephony
- Ability to work as team-member and independently.
- Comprehensive computer skills, ideally with Radiology Information System (RIS) experience
- Preferably have experience in Radiology including with MRI & NM specialties
- Ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues and supervisors.
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
