About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be a valued and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary health care team. We are looking for a leader who would bring ideas, enthusiasm, passion, and an ethos of patient-centred care to the team. As the CNC, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to provide advanced clinical leadership, supervise the nursing team, and ensure the delivery of safe and patient-cantered care focused on reducing restrictive interventions, improving sexual safety and promoting Safewards. You'll collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, lead ward-based improvement work and contribute to quality assurance while overseeing management and
planning for complex consumers in the ward.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
· Current registration with AHPRA
· Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing
· Highly developed interpersonal, mentoring, and leadership experience
· A strong commitment to high quality care
· The ability to work as part of a diverse team
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
