About the Role
The Eastern Health Learning & Teaching Directorate seek a senior nurse for the position of Clinical Nurse Educator - Perioperative Services to join our dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in providing leadership relating to clinical change and development, as well as the education and support of learners and staff within the Eastern Health Perioperative Service.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration (essential)
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (essential)
- A minimum of three years of recent acute perioperative nursing experience (Anaesthetics/PACU/Scub Scout) at a senior level (minimum CNS or above) (essential)
- Clinical Support Nurse experience in perioperative nursing (highly preferred)
- Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising novice clinicians
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient computer literacy
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. Any offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 (with booster) and influenza prior to commencing employment.
