About the Role
The Eastern Health Learning & Teaching Directorate seek a senior nurse for the position of Simulation Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dynamic team. 

This role is pivotal in providing leadership relating to clinical change and development, as well as the education and support of learners and staff within Eastern Health.

About You 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

  • Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration 
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (Critical Care desirable)
  • Qualification in Simulation/Education (desirable)
  • A minimum of five years of relevant acute clinical experience at a senior level (CNS or above)
  • A minimum of three years of recent experience delivering simulation-based education and training in an acute hosptal setting.
  • Current ARC ALS 2 Instructor credentials highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer literacy
  • Current drivers license and access to own vehicle

 

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  Any offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 (with booster) and influenza prior to commencing employment.
