About the Role
The Eastern Health Learning & Teaching Directorate seek a senior nurse to join our dynamic team in the role of Clinical Nurse Educator - Perioperative Services.
Based at Angliss Hospita, this role is pivotal in providing leadership relating to clinical change and development, as well as the education and support of learners and staff within the Eastern Health Perioperative Service.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration with AHPRA
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing
- A minimum of three years of recent acute perioperative nursing experience (Anaesthetics/PACU/Scub Scout) at a senior level (minimum CNS or above)
- Clinical Support Nurse experience in perioperative nursing (highly desirable)
- Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising novice clinicians
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient computer literacy
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
