About the Role
The Eastern Health Learning & Teaching Directorate seeks a senior nurse for the position of Clinical Support Nurse - Emergency - to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing leadership relating to clinical change and development, as well as the education and support of learners and staff within the Emergency Department.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration with AHPRA (essential)
- Relevant clinical postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing (essential)
- A minimum of three years’ acute clinical emergency experience at a senior level (CNS or above)
- Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising learners or novice clinicians
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritization
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and as in integral part of a diverse multidisciplinary team
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
- A strong commitment to high quality care with experience leading or supporting practice change or continuous improvement processes
- Proficient IT literacy
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
