About the role
Clerical staff in the Box Hill Emergency Department provide professional, compassionate and customer-focused service, frequently acting as the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors. They play a critical role in ensuring that patient information is accurately collected and entered into information systems in a timely manner, supporting both clinical care and administrative processes for over 65,000 patient presentations annually.
Working across both front-of-house and back-of-department settings, clerks rotate through a diverse range of roles that support the effective functioning of our multidisciplinary team.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent computer skills - experience in iPM / EMR an advantage, but not essential
- Ability to provide high quality customer service
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
