Eastern Health

Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.

Our Employee Value Proposition is “Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts”.

This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be Healthier Together. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.

About the wards

Ward 9.2, Box Hill Hospital is an acute 32-bed unit, with 16 general medicine beds and 16 ACOP beds. An exciting opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team to deliver excellent care to our community. Ward 9.2 is only the second ward within Eastern Health to adopt the ACOP model of care, providing specialised acute geriatrician-led care to our aged population. This is a great and rare opportunity to be involved in the transition to a hybrid unit.

Ward 3 North, Maroondah Hospital is a 22-bed specialty medicine ward mostly compromising oncology, respiratory and endocrinology patients. We are also able to offer telemetry and non-invasive ventilation services. We are inviting enthusiastic enrolled nurses to join our friendly, supportive and team focused working group. This is a fantastic opportunity for enrolled nurses to be employed in a well established unit with senior nurses to develop strong working relationships with.
