About the role
Reporting to the Manager Capability & Innovation - Lived Experience Workforce, position will be tasked with developing and delivering Consumer and/or Family-Carer Discipline Supervision training for our workforce. The successful applicant will work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, engaging, and practical training that supports professional growth and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs for mental health Consumer and/or Carer Discipline Supervision.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training meets workforce needs.
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables within agreed timeframes.
- Facilitate interactive and inclusive learning sessions.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Significant experience in a peer work role.
- Extensive experience providing either mental health consumer or family-carer discipline (peer) supervision.
- Experience developing and delivering training to the peer workforce.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent time management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for training delivery and collaboration.
- Previous involvement in developing and/or delivering supervision training (highly regarded).
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offerred and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offerred and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
