About the role
An opportunity exists in Medical Imaging at Box Hill for a permanent Night Shift position for a passionate Radiographer. The department is looking for enthusiastic Radiographers to become part of the team in a busy, dynamic and friendly Medical Imaging Departments at Box Hill. Eastern Health Medical Imaging carries out over 280,000 examinations per year and supports an ED 24/7.
The permanent Night Shift Radiographer is one of two radiographers rostered to support the needs of a busy Hospital & Emergency department with additional support from on-call radiographers. CT is a key component of this role that would require initial protocol & workflow training prior to commencing Night Shifts or potentially full CT training for those without CT experience. Ongoing refreshers are also encouraged with potential for rostered blocks of day shifts.
About You
- AHPRA registration and a Victorian radiation license
- Personal Attributes should demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and strive for excellence in patient care along with excellent communication skills
- You will be willing to work as part of a team or autonomously when required and be able to prioritise workflow effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Ability and drive to make a difference
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
