About the role

Join our Biochemistry team at Eastern Health Pathology. In this role, you'll contribute to accurate diagnoses by analysing clinical samples. You'll work in a dynamic environment, growing your skills in clinical chemistry while making a real impact on patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours per week). You will participate in a 24-hour roster and be expected to work every second weekend. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) 
  • Experience in Automated Biochemistry
  • Post Graduate qualifications desirable
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
