Mental Health Clinician – Case Manager

 

  • Permanent full-time | 5 weeks annual leave + monthly day off included 
  • Box Hill location – Doncaster Continuing Care Team | Easy access to public transport, shopping, and dining options 
  • Open to Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers, and Grade 2 Psychologists
  • $92,627.60 - $124,498 per annum (pro rata) dependent on qualifications and experience  

 

About the role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers to deliver high-quality assessments, intensive case management, and discipline-specific mental health assessment, treatment, consultation, and community linkage services within a recovery-oriented model of care.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with appropriate registrationand experience as outlined in the position description.  
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of clinical assessment and interventions in mental health.  
  • Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support.
  • A solid commitment to high-quality care.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
