About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Renal service due to parental leave in our team. We have three roles available at a part-time capacity. We are supportive of professional development and career progression, this is an excellent opportunity to join a specialized renal ward.
You will join a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team who partner to provide the best possible care for our patients. With a strong commitment to research and teaching, we offer professional development, leadership opportunities, and the space and time for you to be the best possible nurse.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical skills aligned with experience and scope of practice.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to the professional
development of self and others. - High level communication, both written and verbal, with demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with
patients, families and all health care professionals. - High level of motivation and willingness to learn, undertaking professional development to enhance nursing and
midwifery expertise. - Demonstrated provision of high quality care, that reflects the application of evidence into practice.
- Digital literacy and embracing of health technologies and informatics
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
