About the role

We are seeking motivated, skilled and team-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our growing Nuclear Medicine service across Eastern Melbourne. Whether you're looking to take the next step in your career, seeking a new challenge, or ready for a fresh start, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and high-performing team.

In this role, you will contribute both collaboratively and independently, providing high-quality nuclear medicine services using Siemens SPECT and SPECT/CT technology. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

With the introduction of our state-of-the-art PET/CT service in August 2024, this is an exciting time to join our department and be part of its continued growth and innovation. Previous PET/CT experience will be highly regarded, offering the opportunity to contribute to and help shape this expanding service.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• A recognised Nuclear Medicine qualification.
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Nuclear Medicine Technologist).
• Current Victorian Radiation Use Licence (or be eligible for one).
• Highly developed interpersonal and clinical skills with commitment to care.
• A current driver’s licence.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
