About the role
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the field of pharmacotherapy? Our Specialist Pharmacotherapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to lead and innovate in the management of complex clients requiring opioid replacement therapy and related treatments.
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced clinical care, drive service improvement, and support clients on their recovery journey. We’re looking for someone with strong clinical expertise, a commitment to harm reduction principles, and a proactive approach to leadership.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with no conditions of registration
- Completed Master’s degree of Nurse Practitioner or equivalent Clinical Master’s degree, as deemed appropriate by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA, including the Therapeutic Medication management module
- Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner on the National Register via the NMBA
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Advanced interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
