About the role
Eastern Health is currently looking for passionate and experienced Pharmacists to join our Cancer Services Pharmacy Team. This position is a second in charge to the Eastern Health Senior Pharmacist Cancer Services. The position has the responsibility of providing comprehensive pharmacy services within Eastern Health cancer services. Eastern Health Pharmacy Department provides a wide range of services in oncology space, they include aseptic & cytotoxic compounding services, day oncology, oncology in the home, oncology & haematology inpatient units at Box Hill Hospital and specialist medicine units at Maroondah Hospital. We provide inpatient bone marrow transplant and Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting (PPMC) services.
Our pharmacy department strongly values professional development and clinical education. We have an ongoing commitment to practice-based research and offer opportunities for involvement to all staff.

About you
To be successful in this role you are required to possess the following:
- Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience in cancer services pharmacy
- Ability to act as a point of reference within Cancer Services and act as a delegate to the Senior Pharmacist Cancer Services
- Highly developed interpersonal experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills
