About the role

The role of eHealth Project Manager is to manage the implementation of one or multiple eHealth Projects. As an eHealth Project Manager, you will drive the successful implementation of Electronic Medical Record systems by overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline clinical workflows and ensure the seamless integration of EMR technology, ultimately advancing the efficiency and quality of healthcare services.  

 

About you 
To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A demonstrated record of achievement in project managing clinical information systems projects in complex hospital settings.  
  • Demonstrated project management experience with PRINCE2, Agile or PMI project management certification  
  • Demonstrated project, budget and financial management experience  
  • Experience in establishing or working with project Steering Committees and other high-level committee  
  • Experience in developing and implementing Change and Communications Plans  
  • Experience in developing and maintaining risk and issues plans and associated registers  
  • Experience in developing and implementing Training Plans  
  • Experience in developing and implementing Go Live and Post Go Live support plans  
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Health discipline, Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent work experience.  
  • High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio to produce professional documentation and presentations  
  • Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and logical and effective manner.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a number of concurrent projects and adapt to changes in the work environment.    
  • Ability to seek advice and direction from technical experts  
  • Excellent Team player  
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision   
  • Current valid Driver’s License  

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
