About the roles

 

We have two opportunities for Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our Wantirna Health team. 

 

Wantirna West Ward – Subacute Service

 

West ward is a newly created 20 bed subacute service, specialising in the care of patients with complex and continuing care needs. We are seeking experienced and dynamic nurses who would be interested in an exciting opportunity to join a team as this new service is established. Partnering with a professional, multidisciplinary team you will work collaboratively to provide exceptional care for patients.

 

murrenda - Residential Aged Care Service

 

The Home has been named by Elders from the Wurundjeri people using the traditional woi wurrung language, and means ‘Life or Living’ which represents beautifully the culture and care model of the Home, which supports people with complex medical and psychogeriatric care needs. We are seeking nurses who want to make a difference in caring for the elderly. With access to continuing professional and career development and a supportive multidisciplinary team you will thrive at murrenda.

 

About you

 

As a Registered Nurse, your skills and experience will include:

  • Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Desirable - previous experience in Residential Aged Care or subacute nursing
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

 

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
