The Perinatal Emotional Health Service is part of the Infant Child Youth & Family Mental Health Service (ICYMHS). The multi-disciplinary team aims to improve the mental health of women through assessment and early intervention in the antenatal period and postnatal period up to the infant’s first birthday.  

 

About you  
To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Current Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration with AHPRA; for Social Work, eligibility for membership of AASW  

  • At least five years clinical experience working with families and preferably in the perinatal period 

  • A strong commitment to high quality care  

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team  

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills  

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
