About the role
Eastern Health is currently looking for passionate and experienced Social Workers to join our Allied Health teams in our Women’s and Children’s Program.

This role provides service to bed-based wards across at our Box Hill Hospital. The role is supported by other Senior Social workers, as well as a dynamic Allied Health Department. This role will allow you to work across a variety of inpatient settings, with opportunities for professional development.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and also work autonomously as required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent risk assessment skills
  • The ability to lead complex discharge planning
  • Conflict resolution skills


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
