Talent Acquisition Specialist – Medical Workforce

About the role 

We are recruiting an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our Medical Workforce at Eastern Health. You will be a strategic internal consultant, partnering with stakeholders to achieve workforce optimisation and sustainability.  

The role focuses on the coordination of end to end recruitment for Medical Workforce including: 

  • Collaborating to embed best practice recruitment and maintaining alignment of quality candidates with Eastern Health Values. 
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support effective talent acquisition, talent pooling and pipelines.  
  • Analysing and applying data and workforce trends to inform medical recruitment strategies and reporting on emerging trends in the employment market and target talent segments.
  • Supporting and coaching stakeholders to deliver efficient recruitment practices and processes using the electronic recruitment system. 
  • Partnering to advertise or directly source candidates using various creative mediums aligned with Eastern Health brand guidelines.    

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Qualifications in HR or relevant field
  • Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist or related role
  • High volume internal recruitment experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Experience or exposure to SuccessFactors and/or other cloud based recruitment systems 

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
