About the role  

The Team Leader Senior Medical Workforce is responsible for effective coordination of daily operations within the Senior Medical Workforce Unit. The role provides collaborative leadership and partners with the Medical Workforce Talent Acquisition Specialist and Credentialing and Compliance Co-ordinator to achieve efficient and effective support for the recruitment, contracting and credentialing of Senior Medical Staff.  

 

About you   

To be successful in this role you will possess:  

  • Previous leadership experience in a dynamic healthcare environment 
  • A strong commitment to quality improvement and service provision 
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills  

   

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.  

 

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
