About the role
East ward is a 30-bed specialist rehabilitation ward with a focus on orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation that provides comprehensive inpatient services. We practice an interdisciplinary approach to health care, involving patients, families, team members and allied health professionals to achieve highest level of patient independence in both the hospital setting and on return to home, work and leisure pursuits.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) on our unit, you will join a growing team that goes above and beyond to provide excellent patient care, where we pride ourselves for our strong level of support, roster flexibility, a supportive orientation and great learning opportunities.
About you
To be successful in this role you need to have:
- Current valid nursing registration with AHPRA
- Current or recent experience working as an ANUM
- Current or recent experience working in a Rehabilitation setting
- Availability to work a rotating roster
- A willingness to embrace Eastern Health values and contribute to a positive team culture
- Excellent patient assessment skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to high quality patient care and consumer engagement
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
