About the role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 neuropsychologist to join the Community Rehabilitation Program in a fixed term part time capacity. The role provides neuropsychological assessment to the Community Rehab clients at Peter James Centre and Wantirna Health.
About you
The Grade 2 Neuropsychologist is responsible for providing a responsive evidence-based neuropsychology service for the Community Rehabilitation Program. This includes provision of comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and psychoeducation and intervention to patients and carers.
The Grade 2 neuropsychologist will have specific knowledge and skills in providing specialist neuropsychological consultation regarding complex diagnostic and management issues. The role is well supported by a friendly multi-disciplinary team including senior neuropsychologists.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

A Masters or Doctoral coursework qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology that has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA).

Full registration or eligibility for full registration as a Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA).

Registration endorsement in the Approved Area of Practice of Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.

For Grade 3 applicants, PBA Approved Supervisor status

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
