About the role

The Enrolled Nurse is a valued and collaborative member of the multidisciplinary health care team at Eastern  Health and is accountable for coordinating and delivering safe and comprehensive patient centred care while  working competently within their scope of practice and in alignment with the Eastern Health and Nursing and  Midwifery Board Practice Standards.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrated clinical skills aligned with experience and scope of practice. 
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the professional development of self and others.
• High level communication, both written and verbal, with demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with patients, families and all health care professionals. 
• High level of motivation and willingness to learn, undertaking professional development to enhance nursing and midwifery expertise.
• Demonstrated provision of high-quality recovery-oriented care, that reflects the application of evidence into practice.
• Digital literacy and embracing of health technologies and informatics.
• Willingness and flexibility to work a rotating roster across all seven days of the week, including morning, afternoon and night shifts.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
