About the role
This role represents an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic clinician to deliver early rehabilitation services in the home as part of a multidisciplinary team. As the successful applicant, you will be an integral member of the speech pathology service and deliver great patient care to improve health outcomes following discharge from hospital.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Eligible for membership to Speech Pathology Australia
- Extensive clinical experience in the management of acquired swallowing and communication disorders
- Strong, effective interpersonal skills, including communication and conflict resolution
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and applying up to date clinical knowledge through professional development and literature review
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level teaching, training and supervision to staff and students
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
