About the role

 

PJC - Centre Ward is looking for a highly organized and dedicated individual who is eager to join our dynamic team as a ward clerk. Your work as a ward clerk would involve streamlining ward operations utilizing your skills to ensure administrative duties add value to the ward operations.

The ward is made up of professional teams that are codependent and focused on ensuring that the best care is delivered to our patients in a holistic manner. We look after both Rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation Management patients, and we pride ourselves on being an innovative team focused on continuous improvement and always maintaining the highest standards in delivering our care.

 

About you 

 

To be successful in the role you will have:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, patients, and families.
  • Uses own initiative however willing to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Sound computer skills relevant to the role.

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
