About the role

• Position One – Full year as Unaccredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Registrar
• Position Two – Full year with a minimum of 6 months and Reconstructive Surgery and the remainder working in other surgical specialties.
• Position Three – Full year with a minimum of 6 months and Reconstructive Surgery and the remainder working in other surgical specialties.

Positions will be allocated to successful applicants based on seniority and experience.

Responsibility, under the supervision of the Head of Unit, for assessment, planning, ongoing treatment and discharge of plastic surgical patients across Eastern Health.

Responsibility for the daily supervision of relevant Interns or HMOs.

Participate in Medical Student education and supervision.

About you 
 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Current General Registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Significant surgical experience in the Australian Healthcare system.
• Prior experience at Registrar level.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
