About the role

Eastern Health is pleased to offer Senior Registrar positions across both Box Hill and Angliss Hospitals for the 2026 clinical year.

Each campus supports over 2,300 births annually and operates more than 10 dedicated theatre lists per week, providing a high-volume, high-acuity clinical environment. Senior Registrars will gain broad exposure to all facets of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and are expected to play a key role in departmental leadership, junior staff supervision, and medical education.

Successful applicants will participate in the weekend and night duty rosters and may be rostered to sessions at alternate sites within Eastern Health to support service needs and professional development.

1 x Shared Epworth/Eastern Health Senior Registrar

6 months at Epworth
6 months at Eastern Health

1 x Gynaecologic Oncology & Advanced Laparoscopy Senior Registrar

6 months Gynaecologic Oncology
6 months Advanced Laparoscopy

1 x Urogynaecology & Maternal Foetal Medicine Senior Registrar

6 months Urogynaecology
6 months Maternal Foetal Medicine (MFM)

5 x General Obstetrics and Gynaecology Senior Registrars

12-month positions across Eastern Health campuses

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Current registration with AHPRA
PGY5+ with substantial experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Demonstrated clinical leadership and teaching capabilities
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
