About the role 

 

  • This position is suitable for Registrars interested in pursuing a career in Urology. 

  • Positions 2 and 3 will consist of 6 months Urology and 6 months General Surgery (including nights and relief cover). 

  • The successful persons will be required to work across all Eastern Health campuses and participate in an after-hours on-call roster.  

 

The positions for 2026 are as follows. 

Position 1. 12 Months Urology 

Position 2. 6 Months Urology, 6 Months Spec Surgery Relief (which may include up to 12 weeks Urology, including nights) 

Position 3. 6 Months Spec Surgery Relief (which may include up to 12 weeks Urology, including nights), 6 Months Urology 

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Current registration with AHPRA  

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience 

  • A strong commitment to high quality care 

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

 

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
