About the role

Grade 2 opportunity in a casual capacity is now available across both acute and subacute bed-based services in Eastern Health.  

We are interested to hear from you and can be flexible in responding to shift availability and the clinical area(s) you feel best suit your level of skill within a Grade 2 scope of practice.  

 

Eastern Health Physiotherapy have a diversity of clinical areas where we would potentially welcome your application including:   

  • Secondary Contact Emergency Medicine  
  • Critical Care  
  • Orthopaedics  
  • Stroke/ Neurology  
  • Complex Acute Medicine  
  • Rehabilitation- Neurology/ Orthopaedics

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy  
  • Previous Physiotherapy experience (at least 24 months)  
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience  
  • A strong commitment to high quality care  
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team  
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills  

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
