About the role
Eastern Health is seeking skilled Grade 2 Physiotherapists to join our casual workforce and contribute across a broad range of services and clinical settings.
Our Physiotherapy teams deliver high-quality care in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, acute and subacute inpatient services, ambulatory care, and home-based programs. Clinical opportunities are available across a diverse range of specialty areas, including Neurology, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Cardiorespiratory, Complex Medicine, Oncology, Women's Health and Paediatric Physiotherapy.
With multiple campuses and home-based services located throughout Melbourne's eastern suburbs, we offer exposure to varied clinical environments, patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.

About you
To be successful in this role you will bring with you:
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Previous clinical experience in hospital bed-based and/or ambulatory settings, with advanced clinical skills in managing complex caseloads and coordinating comprehensive, client-centred discharge planning.
- Highly developed communication, teamwork and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in the supervision of staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative practices and contribute to quality improvement, research activities, and ongoing professional development.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
