About the role
As part of the Eastern Health Institute,tThe paediatric Clincal Nurse Educator (CNE) provides clinical support and education to novice staff on the paediatric ward at Box Hill Hospital. Recognised as a clinical leader, with expertise in paediatric nursing, the paediatric CNE supports porfessional development of all staff and provides educational leadership to support interprofessional learnimg opportunities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Recent experience in the acute paediatric nursing setting.
- Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Post Graduate qualifications in paediatrics, emergency or education (or working towards)
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
- A strong commitment to high quality, child and family centred care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills and able to prioritise competing demands.
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
