About the role

The Operations Co-ordinator Doctors in Training supports efficient and effective delivery of the operational requirements for the Doctors in Training program. The role focuses on providing seamless service delivery for the Clinical Directorates and stakeholders who engage with the Medical Workforce Unit.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry or a Workforce Unit (Medical, Nursing or Allied Health).
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, including ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in the preparation and operationalisation of rosters and electronic rostering systems.
• Highly developed communication skills and experience with stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver optimal outcomes.
• Current driver’s license

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
