Physiotherapist - Workforce Support Program
- Part Time, fixed term (32 hours per week) from January 2026
- Neurological and subacute caseload across the continuum of care with Grade 4 support

About the role

This Grade 3 Physiotherapy position is a key part of our Workforce Support Program (WoSP), a team dedicated to ensuring seamless caseload management and supporting clinical streams during annual leave periods.

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills in neurology and subacute services across diverse settings at Eastern Health. Gain exposure to multiple teams and clinicians, all while being supported by experienced Grade 4 Physiotherapists across the network.
As part of this dynamic team, you’ll contribute to student education and supervise Grade 1 and 2 physiotherapists, helping shape the next generation of clinicians.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in relevant discipline.
- Current registration Australian Physiotherapy Board.
- Eligibility for Membership of Professional Association.
- Extensive clinical experience in geriatric care across the continuum.
- Experience in leadership of staff, including professional development and supervision.
- Experience in clinical education of staff and students.
- High level communication and collaborative practice.
- Demonstrable engagement in innovative work practice
- Sound knowledge of community organisations and networks.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
