About the role
The Junior Modern Workplace Engineer is responsible for supporting the Eastern Health ICT department to design, implement, and administration of Microsoft 365 services and AI solutions. This role is focused on assisting in the deployment of modern workplace technologies, supporting end-users, and contributing to automation and AI-driven enhancements
Working alongside solution architects, technical specialists, project managers and experts in digital workplace solutions, the role will work on support and maintenance of key systems, contributing towards the digital transformation within Eastern Health, with the focus on AI Strategy, application governance, security, troubleshooting and support.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in a technology-related field.
- The ability to develop AI models, workflows, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- A solid understanding of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams administration.
- Exposure to the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Copilot Studio/AI solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, security principles, and Microsoft licensing.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude toward challenges.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting organisational goals.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
