About the role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with clinical experience in hand therapy to join our Occupational Therapy team at Maroondah Hospital. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive and experienced team of hand therapists, delivering high-quality care to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will apply and further develop your expertise in the assessment and management of a broad range of hand and upper limb conditions while contributing to excellent patient outcomes.

About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate professionalism, clinical excellence and consistency of practice in hand therapy. We seek clinicians keen to learn and contribute to health outcomes through participation in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities. To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Experience working in hand therapy.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the management of acute and chronic upper limb conditions and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organisation skills.
- A strong commitment to high-quality care.
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
