About the Role
- An exciting opportunity exists for you to join our Eastern Health Orthopaedic Surgery Team. The consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon will work in partnership with the unit to ensure that the services provided to the community are of the highest standards, emphasizing excellence, service and care.
- The successful incumbent will be required to perform Elective and Emergency Orthopaedic Surgery throughout all sites at Eastern Health as well as participate in on-call roster.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Must be a medical practitioner in the state of Victoria
- Current Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
- Post Graduate qualifications in Orthopaedics
- Must be a fellow of the Royal Australaisian College of Surgeons (RACS) or hold equivalent qualifications to enable recognition as a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
