About the role
Join one of Victoria’s largest and most dynamic physiotherapy departments and build a strong foundation for your career. As a Grade 1 Physiotherapist, you will gain broad clinical experience while delivering high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care across a range of clinical settings.
Working within a supportive and collaborative team environment, you will have access to a range of professional development opportunities, including supervision, education, quality improvement initiatives, and governance activities. You may also have the opportunity to contribute to student education through our partnership with the La Trobe University Eastern Health Physiotherapy Clinical School.
If you are in your graduate year, you will participate in Eastern Health’s Allied Health Transition to Practice Graduate Program, providing structured learning and support throughout your early career.
What you’ll bring
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Eligibility for practicing membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
- Sound knowledge of clinical theory and evidence-based physiotherapy practice relevant to hospital-based care.
- Understanding of person-centred care, including partnering with patients to establish meaningful goals across the continuum of care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Enthusiasm for learning, growth, and continuous development.
