  • Fixed Term, Full Time | Until June 2027 | East Metro and Murrindindi Local Health Service Network
  • Monthly day off + 5 weeks annual leave!

East Metro and Murrindindi Local Health Service Network (EMM LHSN)

 

The EMM LHSN is a collaboration between Alexandra District Health, Eastern Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Yea District and Memorial Hospital.  Eastern Health is the lead agency for the EMM LHSN and therefore responsible for employing staff on behalf of the network.

 

The purpose of the EMM LHSN is to support consistent, equitable access to high quality care for patients across its geography, aiming to meet the healthcare needs of our population as close to home as possible.   The EMM LHSN areas of focus are; access, equity and flow; our workforce; safety and quality; and our shared services. 

 

 

About the role

 

The EMM LHSN Project Lead is responsible to the EMM LHSN Project Manager and will play a pivotal role in implementation of identified common and local initiatives under the priority areas; access, equity and flow; our workforce; safety and quality; and our shared services.   The Project Lead will collaborate with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts across the four health services to deliver on specific projects exploring: establishment of new clinics/pathways, shared procurement opportunities, clinical governance and shared payroll & learning platforms.

 

Whilst the role will be primarily based at Eastern Health in Box Hill, it will be a requirement of the role of working with all four services in the East Metro and Murrindindi Local Health Service Network. 

 

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

  • Qualifications in a relevant field
  • Previous experience within the health care sector
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent understanding of the provision of health services in metropolitan and rural settings
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, internal and external
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning, developing and ensuring continuous improvement of quality health care services within a constrained budgetary environment
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record in achieving objectives within a complex organization and tight time frames
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
