About the role

 

The Recovery At Work Business Partner will manage, support, co-ordinate and implement key initiative to support injured and unwell Eastern health workers to return, and recover at work. 

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

  • Identify and understand problems and opportunities relating to return to work by gathering, analysing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information ; choosing the best course of action by establishing clear decision criteria, generating and evaluating alternatives, and making timely decisions; taking action that is consistent with available facts and constraints and optimising probable outcomes.
  • Establish an action plan for themselves and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging resources.
  • Work cooperatively with others to ensure safe and durable return to work outcomes for injured workers. 
  • Use effective involvement and persuasion strategies to gain acceptance of ideas and commitment to actions that support return to work outcomes.
  • Gain others’ confidence by acting with empathy, integrity and following through on commitments; treating others and their ideas with respect and supporting them in the face of challenges. 
  • Originating action to improve existing conditions and processes; identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
