Grade 3 Occupational Therapist 

 

  • Acute General Medicine | Experience personal and professional development    

  • Maroondah Hospital | Car Parking available | Part time considered 

  • Permanent Full Time | 5 weeks’ annual leave plus monthly days off   

  • $102,091.6- $116,646.40 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the role  

 

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and passionate occupational therapist with clinical expertise in acute general medicine to join our occupational therapy team at Maroondah Hospital. The position will be involved in providing direct clinical care, supporting complex decision making and efficient discharge planning to enhance patient flow. The successful applicant will also be involved in providing leadership, high quality supervision to foster staff development and ensure provision of evidence based occupational therapy services. The Eastern Health occupational therapy service is supported by the manager and grade 4 clinical lead occupational therapists. 

 

About you   

 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Current occupational therapy registration with AHPRA  

  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in acute general medicine 

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience 

  • A strong commitment to high quality care 

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
