About the role
The Grade 2 (HARP) Social Worker is required to provide high quality care to clients in the community through the predominantly autonomous use of proficient clinical skills and effective communication. You will use your high-quality clinical skills and effective communication to assess, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate the care of each patient. You are expected to have a broad level of experience, knowledge and skill in the area of complex psychosocial needs. You will be supported professionally by the Grade 3 Social Worker and within the multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to consolidate learnings, develop consultative skills and then foster leadership skills through proactive participation within the Social Work Service and interdisciplinary teams. The Grade 2 HARP Social worker role provides a unique opportunity to assist in establishing and expanding the social work profession within the HARP service
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Eligibility for membership of the AASW.
- Evidence of current CPD, as per AASW requirements.
- Three years post graduate work experience
- The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and also work autonomously as required.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
