About the role  

 

 

Eastern Health is looking for sonographers to fill a maternity leave position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a modern and growing department that scans a diverse case mix.   

 

 

The Eastern Health ultrasound service completes a wide variety of examinations including Obstetric and Gynaecology, MSK, General, Vascular, and Paediatric studies including Interventional Procedures.  We also undertake a large variety of specialist examinations including CEUS, high risk obstetrics, complex vascular, renal transplant and dialysis examinations.   

 

 

Suitable applicants for this position will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment with an emphasis on patient centred care.  The successful candidate will seek to learn and share knowledge with peers and students.   

 

 

About you   

 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:  

 

 

  • Highly developed interpersonal/communication skills
  • Patients centred approach to health care
  • A strong commitment to high quality care 
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 
  • Diverse skills mix 
  • Current registration with ASAR 
  • Post graduate qualification in Ultrasound or about to get one by the end of the year.
