About the role
The Team Leader for the Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Team is responsible for leading cultural safety within the team, in both patients and staff.
Lead your team in helping close the health gap for Aboriginal and First Nations patients.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Experience in leading teams
- Qualifications in social work / community welfare / nursing / community development or equivelent community health and/or hospital based experience
- Moderate IT skills
- Full Victorian Drivers License
- Ability to work out of usual business hours, including occasional weekend shifts
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
