About the role
Healesville CSSD is a dynamic and progressive department.We are responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical equipment for Surgery and Endoscopy. The CSSD team are skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in the reprocessing of medical equipment. This will be an opportunity to develop your career in the sterilizing service.
About you
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Sterilizing Services
- Minimum 3 years experience in CSSD
- Ability to work flexible rosters
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic Computer skills
- A Positive attitude
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience or knowledge of Decontamination and Sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with AS5369 (2023) is required
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
