About the role 

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with adults in the Community. The Physiotherapist will provide expert clinical physiotherapy services to adults receiving services at Eastern Health Community Health, Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health (and remote sites), utilising both individual and group therapy models.   

This position sits within the Health & Ageing Team and presents opportunities to work within a multidisciplinary team as well as provide clinical supervision to allied health assistants and undergraduate students. 

 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Qualifications as per Key Selection Criteria, including; 
    • Advanced clinical skills in managing a complex caseload and comprehensive discharge planning using a client-centred approach.   
    • Broad clinical experience encompassing diverse client presentation, in particular demonstrated experience in field of gerontology including falls and balance, chronic disease management and common musculoskeletal conditions.   
  • Current registration with AHPRA  
  • Highly developed clinical experience 
  • A strong commitment to high quality care 
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
