About the Training Program

 

Our training program meets all requirements of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) while providing broad and extensive clinical experience across a range of settings.

 

Spectrum operates a highly regarded assessment and consultation service, receiving referrals involving complex presentations from across Victoria. Registrars are exposed to a diverse range of clinical experiences and benefit from opportunities to participate in research, education, and training across a wide variety of areas.

 

 

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Current General Registration with AHPRA
  • Highly developed interpersonal and clinical leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high-quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational Skills

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
